A new Sooner Survey shows three Oklahoma Republican statewide runoff races remain too close to call, with large numbers of voters still undecided.
The survey by Cole Hargrave Snodgrass & Associates found all three races are within the poll’s margin of error, with at least 44% of voters undecided in each contest.
In the Republican runoff for Insurance Commissioner, Bob Sullivan leads Marty Quinn 30% to 26%, with 44% undecided. Sullivan’s four-point advantage is the largest lead among the three races.
The Labor Commissioner race is even closer. Kevin West leads John Pfeiffer 27% to 25%, while 48% of voters remain undecided.
In the race for State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Robert Franklin leads James Taylor 27% to 26%, with 47% undecided.
Sooner Survey President Pat McFerron said all three contests remain too close to call and could ultimately come down to turnout.
The survey of 600 Republican primary voters was conducted August 3-6 and has a margin of error of plus or minus four percentage points.
