(Dallas, TX) Former Oklahoma Speaker of the House and current Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor T.W. Shannon delivered an energetic speech to Republicans from across the country last night, introducing himself to the GOP faithful and sounding themes of patriotism and personal accountability.
Shannon spent a good amount of his roughly five minutes on stage making the case for school choice policies.
“Children don’t belong to the government or a teachers’ union, they belong to families,” Shannon said. “And the American Dream shouldn’t be limited by zip code.”
