Oklahoma City real estate developer John Lowery, a Democrat with experience in politics in Tennessee, is considering a bid for the Democratic nomination for the U. S. Senate, The McCarville Report has  been told.

Lowery is no stranger to politics, having served as Chief of Staff for Harold Ford, Sr., the former Memphis Democratic Congressman, and managed Harold Ford Jr.’s unsuccessful campaign for the U.S. Senate in 2004.

We’re told the Democratic National Committee has encouraged him.
