    I certainly respect the districts that DIDN’T shut down for the day. Thanks, Dave Lopez, and thanks all the other districts that didn’t close shop to participate in this sad spectacle.

    signs that demanded a hike in oil and gas taxes? What ECONOMICS genius? Who do they think will pay those taxes?
    If you want more money in the classroom, then demand the 500+ Superintendents consolidate AND go on a salary (or celery) diet.
