Harvey Sparks, who sought the Republican nomination for Congress in the 5th District, today endorsed Steve Russell in his runoff primary with Corporation Commissioner Patrice Douglas.
“Steve is a man of character who has all the essential qualities of a great leader,” says Sparks. “That is why I will be enthusiastically supporting Lt. Col. Steve Russell in the runoff on August 26, and I encourage fellow voters in the Fifth District to do the same.”
Sparks is a former policy adviser to Congressman Jim Bridenstine.
“Having been a Congressional aide with a front-row seat to the dysfunction in Washington, I jumped into this race because I was convinced we need a different kind of leader. Steve Russell is exactly who we need as we work to secure a future that is filled with promise for our children and grandchildren,” Sparks says.
