The State Capitol Repair Expenditure Oversight Committee will hold its first meeting today. The committee’s purpose is to develop plans for repair and restoration of the interior of the Capitol building.
The committee was created under legislation signed by Governor Fallin, HJR 1033, that provides $120 million for repairs and restoration of the crumbling state Capitol building. The committee is comprised of three gubernatorial appointees, three senators and three state representatives.
