Congressman Steve Russell is opening his local office in Del City, a first for that community, and has named Dean Fisher, formerly vice president  at Rose State, as his Chief of Staff.

He also has named Craig Smith, formerly District Director for Senator Tom Coburn, as his District Director.

Russell said he will have more staff announcements later after his office is established.

The Del City office is located in the Arvest Bank tower on Southeast 29th Street.

Russell grew up in Del City and is a graduate of Del City High School. He later joined the U. S. Army and is best known for his unit’s role in the capture of Saddam Hussein. He has been inducted into the Del City High School Hall of Fame.

I am anxious to see if he votes for Boehner, the weepy girl, or Louie G.

I’ve been trying to contact Rep. Russell and have no access so far. I’m also wanting to know his vote for Speaker of The House. His comments make it very clear where his loyalties lie and I don’t believe it’s with those who voted for him. I won’t make that mistake again. I sent an email to the former Rep. James Lankford’s office hoping they would be kind enough to give him my message.

Rep. Russell’s comment is posted on Facebook by Matthew Vermillion: “I will also not eliminate my strategic voice for the expediency of stupid tactics. Read Federalist Paper 10 for my views.”

Rep. Russell’s comment about not rearranging deck chairs is stupid. Of course you change things when you want different results. Only stupid people do the same thing over and over expecting different results. I use the word stupid because Rep. Russell used that word to slam the tactics of those who want a change in the leadership. Rep. Russell, vote John Boehner out. Vote for Rep. Louie Gohmert as the new Speaker of The House.
