“I’m pleased that the Oklahoma House of Representatives agrees that politics does not belong in the paychecks of Oklahoma classroom teachers. Should HB 1749 be approved by the state senate, school districts will no longer be required to collect monies on behalf of union officials. Political activity is the right of all citizens; however, the state should get out of the business of being the bagman for the union bosses.”
