For several years, state Rep. Dan Fisher has been giving public presentations in costume with his version of American history, which centers on the role pastors played in American independence.
Fisher, R-Yukon, is part of a group called the “Black Robe Regiment.” It is a call for religious leaders to challenge politicians for Christian-based governance.

(his version of American history) is an interesting choice of words. For the curious I’d recommend visiting the website or getting a copy of Fisher’s book and running the footnotes/documentation to ground. It is certainly not the same as the John Dewey/public school system version of history that we have been taught and they both can’t be right.
