The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) has announced the 2015 Executive Committees of its three caucuses: the Republican Lieutenant Governors Association (RLGA), Republican Secretaries of State Committee (RSSC) and Republican Legislative Campaign Committee (RLCC). Each Executive Committee, made up of state elected officials, will work closely with its previously announced Chairman and Vice-Chairman to recruit, support and elect state-level candidates.

“Our three caucuses have been incredibly successful in recent years because strong leaders have been delivering results,” said RSLC President Matt Walter. “Each caucus holds far more elected seats than their Democratic counterparts, and we are excited for this year’s Executive Committees to raise the bar even higher.  Their continued vision and innovations in their states – coupled with their national leadership in advancing new ideas and inspiring the next generation of candidates – will blaze a clear path heading into 2016.”

About the RSLC
The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) is the largest caucus of Republican state leaders in the country and the only national organization whose mission is to elect down-ballot, state-level Republican officeholders.  Since 2002, the RSLC has been working to elect candidates to the offices of lieutenant governor, attorney general, secretary of state, state legislator, the judiciary and other down-ticket races.  The RSLC has more than 150,000 donors in all 50 states. During the 2013-2014 election cycle, the RSLC was active in all 50 states and picked up ten new state legislative chambers, leading to an all-time historic high of 69 chambers controlled by Republicans.  Additionally, Republicans saw net gains in 62 chambers and picked up six lieutenant governors, leading to 31 total Republican lieutenant governors, along with holding a Republican majority of secretaries of state, now at 28.  The RSLC successfully expanded the Future Majority Project and “Right Women, Right Now” initiative, spending more than $6 million in direct support of Republican candidates of diverse descent and women, leading to the election of 164 new candidates. Last cycle, the RSLC also launched the Judicial Fairness Initiative and the new top-level domain for the Republican Party, ‘.gop.’ To learn more about the RSLC, please visit www.rslc.gop or follow @RSLC on Twitter.

About the RLGA
The Republican Lieutenant Governors Association (RLGA) is the only national organization supporting Republican lieutenant governors and candidates. The RLGA provides lieutenant governors and candidates with financial support and assists in message development. More than any other statewide office, lieutenant governors ascend to serve as governors. Lieutenant governors also regularly ascend to U.S. senators and congressmen. The RLGA currently claims 31 of the 45 lieutenant governor offices nationwide, a record number for the organization. Republicans currently hold 15 of the 19 independently-elected positions and 16 of the 25 team-elected/appointed seats.

About the RSSC
The Republican Secretaries of State Committee (RSSC) is committed to electing Republican secretaries of state nationwide.  The Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC) welcomed the RSSC to its group of caucuses in 2007. Since then, the RSSC has assisted in Republican victories across the country, leading to Republicans holding 28 of the 50 secretaries of state offices nationwide.

About the RLCC
The Republican Legislative Campaign Committee (RLCC) is the only national organization dedicated exclusively to electing more Republicans to state legislatures.  The RLCC’s primary mission is gaining Republican control of more state legislative chambers by targeting national resources to support winnable local races.  Since its formation in 2003, the RLCC has assisted in bringing successes to numerous legislative chambers, and winning historic majorities in states nationwide.  In the 2013-2014 cycle, the RLCC picked up ten new legislative chambers leading to an all-time historic high of 69 Republican chambers held.  The RLCC provides financial training and strategic assistance to state legislatures, ensuring that candidates are equipped with the necessary tools to run effective and efficient campaigns, including organized campaign training schools in key states across the country.
