Lankford Campaign Active in Second Quarter, Inhofe Steady as She Goes

A breakdown of the most recent Federal Election Commission reports indicate Oklahoma’s senior senator isn’t raising money as fast as his junior counterpart. Senator Jim Inhofe took in a total of $50,802 during the second quarter of 2015, while Senator James Lankford raised $421,020 during the same period.

The top individual contributors to Inhofe’s campaign were:

  1. Fred M. Fehsenfeld of Indianapolis, IN – Heritage Group Executive Committee Chairman – $2,700
  2. Brian Middleton of Cordova, TN – No Occupation Given – $2,500
  3. Michael Ference of Edgewater, MD – Shockey Scofield Solutions Partner – $2,000
  4. Sam Geduldig of Washington, DC – CGCN Partner – $1,000, John Green of Oxford, MS – Crossroads Strategies Consultant – $1,000, Gregory M. Scott of Warrenton, VA – Mirevir Consulting President – $1,000
  5. Mike Catanzaro of Alexandria, VA – CGCN Group Consultant – $500, Mike Nielson of Washington, DC – CGCN Partner – $500, Doug Schwartz of Washington, DC – CGCN Group Vice President – $500

Inhofe’s top Committee Contributions were:

  1. American Chemistry Council PAC – Washington, DC – $5,000, CSX Good Government Fund – Washington, DC – $5,000
  2. Enterprise Holdings Inc. PAC – St. Louis, MO – $2,500, Global Business Travel Association PAC – Alexandria, VA – $2,500
  3. Hollyfrontier Corp PAC – Dallas, TX – $2,000
  4. A total of 16 committee donors gave $1,000 each

Inhofe’s Total Disbursements during the second quarter were $26,860. All of that was in operating expenses.

The top five expenditures for Inhofe in the second quarter were:

  2. Strategic Perception Inc. of Hollywood, CA – Video Production – $3,934
  3. Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs of Oklahoma City, OK – Event Sponsorship – $2,500
  4. Mariachi Real De Alvarez of Haltom City, TX – Event Expense: Mariachi Band – $2,250
  5. The Sirloin Club of Oklahoma of Oklahoma City, OK – Sponsorship – $1,500

Looking over Lankford’s filing indicates he has a much more active campaign. Of the $421,020 raised over the second quarter of this year, total individual contributions totaled $272,244, committee contributions were $117,951, and transfers from authorized committees adding up to $30,093.

A total of 17 committees gave $2,500 each, while another four committees have $2,000 each. The 2015 Senators Classic Committee gave a total of $30,093 to Lankford in the second quarter.

Almost all of the second quarter disbursements for the campaign were operating expenditures. That was $265,572.

Lankford’s second quarter top operating expenditures were:

Inhofe’s campaign ended the second quarter with $130,521 cash on hand, while Lankford’s camp had $573,433.
