Russell: How To Stop ISIS

russell

Congressman Steve Russell, retired Army veteran with multiple combat experiences, has this advice on how to stop ISIS:

“We must stop these acts of barbarity, and what we need to hear from the President is not what he is not going to do, and what this not is, what we need to hear is what he is going to do. And, I’ve got some suggestions. Here is a couple: Raqqa, the city where it’s the center of gravity where these attacks were planned, we need to drop leaflets and tell them they have 96 hours and we need after that time we need to hit every electrical power grid station. Drop every bridge in the area. Hit their water supply. Hit their, what they need for daily living, ingress and egress routes. We don’t level the city, but we make it untenable. We hit every cell tower that promotes their cell phone coverage or internet. We knock those things out. We can do that right now. But instead, we hear the President talking about his strategy has not changed. Well, we are going to continue to see this type of violence, and it is going to land on our own shores, because of these policies.”

Sounds like old school “Siege” warfare. We put Raqqa under siege. works for me. Can we do it?

France beat us to hitting Raqqa. Odd that we’ve been bombing for months and in less than a week France has hit the city. Lead the military coup and oust the president since the gutless Congress won’t remove him. None of this is by coincidence!

Bombs? That’s what Donald Trump wants to do, too.

I can’t help but wonder how this president is telegraphing our every move to ISIS so they can live to kill Americans another day. And, since he has vowed to make gun control his top priority in his last year (if, in fact, he actually leaves office), I wonder if the shootings in Paris and elsewhere overseas is his way of convincing the United Nations to ban all firearms. Then he could “blame” the UN for scuttling our Second Amendment rights, and act as if he tried to stop the UN, but he “didn’t have enough time”, or some other BS.
