Governor Fallin’s chief of staff says constituents of Senator Anthony Sykes of Moore are not considered for state posts because he refuses to attach his name to any appointments.
Denise Margalski Northrup, writing on Facebook, said, “his constituents are also losing out on being appointed to any board or commission because he refuses to carry them for Senate confirmation so we don’t even consider anyone from that district.”
Northrup’s comment came in a discussion of Sykes’ well known habit of not returning phone calls and avoiding reporters.

Sykes is as or more reclusive than Howard Hughes. It would appear his future in politics is behind him.
