Pruitt In D. C. For Supreme Court Health Care Hearing

Attorney General Scott Pruitt is in Washington for the U. S. Supreme Court’s hearing on the federal health care plan.

“Every generation has a Supreme Court case that sets the tone for how we perceive American government, and this is that case,” said Pruitt, who is chairman of the Republican Attorneys General Association.

“We appreciate the monumental decision the Supreme Court must make on the constitutionality of a law that requires citizens to purchase a product from a private company or face a tax penalty. This is not a battle about health care. It is a fundamental question about the power afforded the federal government.”
