Sullivan Endorses Christian for Sheriff

Oklahoma County Assessor Leonard Sullivan announced today that he is supporting former Representative Mike Christian in the special election for Oklahoma County Sheriff.

“It’s time for a NEW Sheriff in town and I’m supporting Conservative Republican Mike Christian for Oklahoma County Sheriff,” said Sullivan.

Sullivan said one of his main reasons for backing Christian is Christian’s ability to fix leadership failures at the county jail.

“Your property taxes have increased approximately $20 million in the last 10 years because of lawsuits at the county jail,” said Sullivan.  “Mike Christian understands how important efficient, streamlined, professional management is to fix the problems at the jail, to help reduce costs and stop the lawsuits that have cost property owners millions. Oklahoma County Republicans and Conservatives, please join me voting for Mike Christian for Sheriff.”

Christian said he is honored to have Sullivan’s support.

“Leonard has been a leading conservative voice in Oklahoma County for decades, and I am honored by his trust and confidence,” said Christian. “Leonard understands we need new leadership to solve our jail crisis. I hope to have the opportunity to work with him and our other county officials to address these critical issues.”

Sullivan is the latest Republican leader to announce support for Christian since the special election began in February. The special election will be held April 4.

Christian is a dumpster fire waiting to happen. He doesn’t need to be our dog catcher, let alone sheriff!
