Waiting on a Breakthrough on the Budget

Since Governor Fallin called the Legislature into special session on September 25, little visible progress has been made. The Oklahoman’s Dale Denwalt writes most of the negotiations to patch the $215 million hole in the state budget have been behind closed doors. However, legislative leaders are optimistic a deal can be reached.
