Second Special Session Gets Underway

The second special session got underway Monday with a quick, constitutionally mandated first reading of the bills which address Governor Fallin’s call to prevent SoonerCare provider cuts. The Oklahoman’s Dale Denwalt writes lawmakers are also considering appropriating money for the Department of Human Services. Fallin amended her call to include that measure late Monday. Lawmakers also have been told to expect the session to last into next month.
