Republican Bob Anthony will be his party’s nominee for Corporation Commission, while Democrat Ashley Nicole McCray will challenge him in November.
Anthony defeated former Senate President Pro-Tempore Brian Bingman 54 to 46 percent.
McCray beat Blake Cummings 65 to 35 percent for the Democratic nomination.
Independent Jackie Short also will appear on November’s general election ballot.
