During a marathon meeting on Tuesday, the Oklahoma Veterans Commission reviewed the critical state audit of the Oklahoma Veterans Affairs agency and its executive director Doug Elliott. The Oklahoman’s Justin Wingerter writes the Commission decided to keep Elliott on the job, despite protestors calling for his dismissal. It also decided to move forward with the relocation of the Talihina Veterans Center.
