Young to Participate in National Addiction Crisis Policy Forum

Rep. George Young will take part in a policy forum aimed at helping those who are suffering addiction issues. He was nominated to participate in the Council of State Governments (CSG) Policy Academy: Promising Approaches for America’s Addiction Crisis.

“It will give me great pleasure to gain an overview from the national level of the initiatives, information and prospective measures available to further instill hope and garner uplifting change for Oklahomans affected by addiction,” said Young. “I will then be able to provide an outline and summary of those things being worked on and how we can work together with state and nonprofit agencies to continue rebuilding and strengthening Oklahoma families and communities for the enhancement of our great state.”

The academy will take place at the Council of State Governments 2018 National Conference in Northern Kentucky – greater Cincinnati this December.
