Stitt, Edmondson Have Common Goals, Differ in How to Pay for Them

It seems one of the major differences between Republican gubernatorial candidate Kevin Stitt and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Drew Edmondson is how to fund ways to make Oklahoma better. The Tulsa World’s Randy Krehbiel writes Stitt and Edmondson told the Rotary Club of Tulsa during a Wednesday forum that they both want to improve education results, criminal justice reform and pull the state from the bottom of many social categories. Stitt feels the current revenue stream and increased state agency efficiency is enough to pay for his vision. Edmondson said more revenue is needed to set Oklahoma on a better path.
