The Oklahoma Ethics Commission has elected Karen Long as its new chairwoman for through October 2019. Long is serving her second term as a commissioner. She was originally appointed by Speaker Chris Benge and re-appointed by Speaker Jeff Hickman. Long succeeds John Hawkins as chair.
The Commission also elected former Oklahoma Senator Charlie Laster as the vice chair. Laster was appointed to the Commission by Governor Fallin.
