Monday begins the three day period for filing for local Boards of Education seats. The Oklahoma State Election Board will take candidate filing packets through close of business on Wednesday, December 5.

OK, conservatives: if you want to make a dent in The Blob, go run for school board in your community. If you win, you won’t be able to turn the behemoth around, but you can learn its inner workings and you can sure make them watch their step. I did it and found it worthwhile.
