The Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the Department of Environmental Quality and the Oklahoma Secretary of Energy’s Office are launching a new grant program to encourage the development of electric vehicle charging stations. OK Energy Today reports the ChargeOK Grant Program is funded by the Volkswagen State Environmental Trust and is expected to offer more than $3 million for the installation and operation of publicly accessible charging stations in Oklahoma.
