Stitt, House Agree on Budget Proposal, Senate Leadership Defends Plan

Governor Kevin Stitt and the Oklahoma House appear to be on the same page when it comes to the next state spending plan. At the same time, Senate Leadership defends that legislative body’s stance. NonDoc’s Tres Savage writes Stitt and House Speaker Charles McCall held a Monday afternoon press conference to be “transparent with where we are.” Senate President Pro Tempore Greg Treat defended their stance of how to provide more money in the classroom while giving teachers another raise.
