State Health Dept Moves Vital Records to Online, Phone Requests Only

During this COVID-19 outbreak in Oklahoma, the State Department of Health has decided to take an “online” only approach to getting vital records for the public. The Department is closing its lobby where most people could get records in-person. It also is suspending mail in applications for vital records.

Online and phone requests will be the way people can get access to those records.

Health Department staff will work with hospitals, physicians and funeral directors to make sure birth and death records are filed in a timely manner.
