Shipley Enters Race for Bice’s Senate Seat

Edmond resident Keri Shipley announced Monday she intends to run for the soon to be vacated Senate District 22 seat. Shipley joins a growing number of candidates who want to replace Congresswoman-elect Stephanie Bice.

Shipley is an Oklahoma House staff member who is married with two daughters.

“I’m running to be a voice and advocate for the people of Senate District 22,” Shipley said. “Our community needs a strong, conservative leader to stand up for our interests – not special interests. I’m asking everyone to support my campaign so I can work for you.”

Shipley has been involved in local community organizations.

The filing period for the Special Election to fill the seat begins next week.

The Special Primary Election is scheduled for February 9, 2021. The Special General Election is set for April 6.
