Amari Kimbro, a former legislative assistant, is suing the state of Oklahoma claiming that Oklahoma House leadership wrongly fired her after an incident between a Black Lives Matter group and multiple Republican lawmakers.
The Oklahoman’s Ben Felder writes Kimbro stepped in to calm the situation in April 2021. She claims less than two months later she was fired and not provided information on why.
