State Board of Ed Makes Pronoun Rules Permanent

The Oklahoma State Board of Education made a rule change impacting how student sex or gender designations are handled permanent on Thursday. This comes as a lawsuit is pending against the prohibition on school districts to allow for the changes to a student’s gender on school records with a parent’s permission.

The Oklahoman’s Murray Evans writes State Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters defended the action.
