Stitt Calls for Tax Cuts, Points Out Tribal Relations Issues

In this year’s State of the State address, Governor Kevin Stitt kicked off the legislative session by asking for more tax cuts, a possible consolidation of colleges, and warned of more issues with Oklahoma’s tribal nations caused by the U.S. Supreme Court’s McGirt decision.

Oklahoma Watch’s Paul Monies writes Stitt said he would sign any tax cut bill that reached his desk.

Stitt continued to point out issues he sees with tribal nations and jurisdictions and used the Navajo reservation in Arizona as an example.
