Drummond Dismisses Stitt’s ClassWallet Lawsuit

On Monday, Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond took over the recently filed lawsuit against ClassWallet’s parent company, Kleo Inc., and dismissed the new lawsuit filed by the Stitt Administration.

Tulsa World’s Andrea Eger writes Governor Stitt announced the new lawsuit in January to recoup more than a million dollars in misspent federal education funds.

Drummond contends that the responsibility to keep those funds from being spent lies with current State Superintendent of Public Instruction, who was serving as Stitt’s Education Secretary at the time the program got underway.
