Keyes Announces Run for Senate District 15 Seat

Filing for office last week, Norman Businessman Robert Keyes announces his run for the Senate District 15 seat. He’ll have quite a bit of competition in the Republican primary with five other candidates vying to face the lone Democrat in the November General Election.

Keyes is the President and CEO of Associated Environmental Industries. He was recently elected Treasurer for the National Groundwaters Association and serves as chairman of the NGWA University at Oklahoma State University.

“My life has been defined by the values of hard work, creative problem-solving, and personal integrity,” Keyes said. “I plan to take the formula that has made me successful and apply it to the workings of our State Government. Our best days are ahead of us as long as we have strong leaders led by a foundation of faith and conservative values.”

The Senate District 15 seat is currently held by Senator Rob Standridge who is term-limited.

The Republican primary is set for June 18.
