Governor Kevin Stitt has withdrawn his nomination of Mike Holder to the Board of Regents for OSU and A&M Colleges. Instead, he has named attorney Jennifer Callahan as his new nominee.
Stitt called a Senate only special session to confirm Holder. He’s now asking for Callahan’s confirmation.
Tulsa World’s Steve Metzer writes Senate President Pro Tem Greg Treat recently said questions had been raised concerning Holder’s qualifications to serve on the Board of Regents.
