Independent Voters on Rise in Oklahoma

It seems the growth of independent voters is outpacing the growth of the three recognized political parties in Oklahoma.

Tulsa World’s Steve Metzer writes independent voter registrations have increased by 84.15% since 2014 according to Oklahoma State Election Board statistics.

That increase in those choosing to leave formal political parties is also trending nationwide.
