St. Isidore Contract Stay Denied by Oklahoma Supreme Court

The Oklahoma Supreme Court denied St. Isidore of Seville Catholic Virtual School’s request for a stay on its contract being rescinded while it contemplates an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Oklahoman’s Murray Evans writes the Oklahoma Supreme Court justices did not comment, but the vote was seven to one to deny the stay.

Recently, the Oklahoma Supreme Court ordered St. Isidore’s contract be dissolved since it was considered unconstitutional.

So far, the Statewide Charter School Board has refused to rescind the contract.
