A familiar face to Oklahoma state government is returning to Oklahoma as the Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s (ODOT) new director of Government and Community Affairs. Katelynn Burns has held positions with the Oklahoma Health Care Authority, the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, and YWCA Oklahoma City.
Burns is leaving Houston as Communications Director for that city’s Public Works Department.
In this position, Burns will oversee the ODOT’s Tribal and Community Engagement, State Legislative Coordination, and the Strategic Communications office.
