During a speech to the Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Representative Kevin Hern said Congress needs to get focused on the next federal budget. The appropriations bills will be on the agenda when Congress returns to Washington, D.C. after the August “work break” back in their districts.
Tulsa World’s Randy Krehbiel writes Hern said that the Congress’ lack of focus on the budget has caused continued deficit spending. Oklahoma’s District One Congressman believes that is the most important issue Congress is facing.
