During a recent forum for Lt. Governor candidates hosted by the Garfield County Republican Women, David Ostrowe says that Governor Kevin Stitt has endorsed his bid.
“Governor Stitt recruited me for this position. He’s endorsing me actively. And I will be the person that will help us drive our future,” Ostrowe said.
The McCarville Report contacted the Governor’s Office to confirm the endorsement and was referred by a spokesperson back to Ostrowe’s campaign.
In that conversation with a campaign official, we were told that Stitt did endorse Ostrowe. However, there has yet to be an official release.
Attempts to confirm the endorsement independently were not answered.
