Vice President J.D. Vance has endorsed T.W. Shannon in Oklahoma’s race for lieutenant governor.
In a statement, Vance said Shannon has the experience and values needed to serve as Oklahoma’s next lieutenant governor.
“I’m happy to endorse T.W. Shannon,” Vance said.
Shannon thanked the vice president for his support and noted that he worked in the Trump administration.
“I am humbled by his endorsement and support,” Shannon said.
The endorsement comes after Shannon received an endorsement from Donald Trump earlier this year.
Shannon also has the endorsement of Markwayne Mullin, along with several business and professional organizations.
