Congressman Frank Lucas spoke out for the Emergency Conversation Program Improvement Act as the U.S. House of Representatives took a vote on the measure.
Lucas called the legislation critical to landowners following a natural disaster.
The bill passed the House by a vote of 368 – 19. It now heads to President Trump for his consideration.
