Oklahoma’s General Revenue Fund collections came in slightly below estimates in August but remained above collections from the same month last year.
August collections totaled $604.4 million, which was $7.8 million, or 1.3%, below the monthly estimate. Collections were $5.3 million, or 0.9%, higher than August 2025.
Through the first two months of fiscal year 2027, collections total $1.1 billion. That is $15.6 million, or 1.4%, below the year-to-date estimate and $87.5 million, or 7.2%, below the same period last fiscal year.
“Collections remain generally in line with expectations for the early months of the new fiscal year,” Oklahoma Office of Management and Enterprise Services Director Mark Wood said. “While timing factors and variability in corporate income tax affected some categories, the broader picture remains steady, with several major revenue sources performing well against estimates and year-over-year totals.”
The General Revenue Fund is the state government’s primary operating fund and the main funding source for the annual appropriated state budget.
