Oklahoma Representative Cynthia Roe has received the 2026 Honorary PA designation from the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Associates for her work supporting the profession and access to quality health care.
The academy presented the honor during its Oct. 1 awards luncheon in Oklahoma City. A colleague nominated Roe in recognition of her legislative work on behalf of physician associates.
“Healthcare is not only a huge part of my daily life, but it is my passion as a legislator, and I am deeply honored to receive this designation,” Roe said.
The award recognizes distinguished service to patients, communities, the physician associate profession and the academy.
Roe has more than 40 years of health care experience as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner.
