Republican voters chose Robert Franklin over James Taylor for the nomination in the State Superintendent of Public Instruction race.
Franklin won 54.63% of the vote. Taylor took 45.37%.
Franklin and Democrat Jennettie Marshall, the former Tulsa School Board member, will face off in November.
