Fallin: Use Of Ft. Sill To House Illegals A ‘Policy misstep’

Governor Mary Fallin today issued the following statement after her office was informed by the Regional Administrator of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that Fort Sill is being considered as a location for the housing of up to 1,200 unaccompanied minors who illegally crossed the southern border of the United States.

“The Obama administration today informed the state of Oklahoma that Fort Sill will be housing up to 1,200 unaccompanied minors who came into this country illegally. While they have assured my office this arrangement is temporary, the Obama administration continues to fail in its duty to protect our borders and continues to promote policies that encourage, rather than discourage, illegal immigration. I am dismayed by what appears to be an endless cycle of illegal immigration, temporary housing and eventual amnesty for those who have broken our laws. Today’s news is the latest in a long line of policy missteps that the American people are paying for.”

    Governor,
Instead of being dismayed, why not intercept transports sending these illegals to Oklahoma, and escort them back over the Texas-Oklahoma border? Is that too tough a decision for you? That’s part of your job.

Governor/Tom, these kids escaped from an environment of drugs, hunger, and murder.

I wonder, if you looked these kids in the eye – would you make them go back to the hell-holes they came from just to prove ob is an ash-hole in how he choses to enforce our laws. Face facts and recognize that they are here, and that your political posturizing will not alleviate the problems these kids face.

Hmmm…. How about we just stop them at the Border?! Why bring them here? What the hell is wrong with this administration?I support impeachment for Obama as how many times is he able to break the law with impunity.
