The main purpose of our efforts is to build the grassroots into an effective political force by building active, self-sustaining precinct organizations based on precinct town meetings. The GOP effort can be paralleled in the Democrat party, also. Since our philosophical focus is individual rights, limited government and self-responsibility, we are particularly encouraging participation through the GOP, since those are also their stated (but often contradicted) political principles.
