David, I’ve got news for you – the non-political no-call rules are broken every day right now. As a retired old-fart, I have learned that if 2 seconds lapse from my ‘hello’ to a response, hang up. The caller-ID display is a joke.
Every once in a while I get an advertising call from a real person – that person’s ears probably burn for a week.
Concentrate on eliminating ALL robo-calls for ANY reason. We, the public, should be protected from these offensive interruptions while watching Gun Smoke and Bonanza.
