Pam Pollard Conducting GOP Financial ‘Performance Review’

A performance review of the Oklahoma Republican Party’s financial books is underway.

It is being conducted by Pam Pollard, who lost the GOP chairman’s race to Randy Brogdon.

Pollard, an accountant and president of the Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women, told The McCarville Report that Brogdon asked for her help:

“Randy asked me to look over the books and see where the money came from and how it was spent. I will be doing a type of performance review to see what programs have been profitable and which ones have had a negative financial impact on the State Party.

“According to State Party rules at the end of every chairman’s term there will be an independent review of the books to verify deposits and expenditures.  I will leave the formal review up to the Budget Committee.”

Pollard is among those spearheading fundraising efforts for the Party. She and others responded to Brogdon’s discovery the Party’s coffers are bare. Some claim the Party has a $50,000 debt. Brogdon has confirmed a debt apparently exists although former Chairman Dave Weston asserts that is incorrect and insists he left the Party with cash on hand.

Brogdon told a Tulsa GOP meeting of Pollard’s involvement (Sooner Politics).
