New Republican State Chairman Randy Brogdon has named volunteer campaign assistant TC Ryan of Tulsa as the Party’s executive director, sources report.
The move apparently restores that title to the Party headquarters.
Ryan has been active in Tulsa County GOP politics and has served as a state committeeman. He is identified with the most conservative side of the party.
In 2014, he served on the board of directors of the Drug Policy Reform Network of Oklahoma, which seeks “to continue to educate and raise awareness of the benefits of marijuana for all while emphasizing the injustice and inefficiency of our current drug policy.”
The executive director position was eliminated by former Chairman Gary Jones, now State Auditor & Inspector, as a money-saving move.
