1 – A TV coach for NBA players who will tell them it is much more effective to look at the interviewer rather than stare off into space like they are talking to the moon. Perhaps it is because they are so tall?
2 – A redo on that open heart surgery thing four years ago; not so keen on that now. Maybe it was the four hospitalizations covering 22 days and the problems that continue today that soured me.
3 – A padded room for my critics who claim I am dead and others write these posts.
4 – A jar of that stuff that puts a shine on bald heads; mine looks like used sandpaper.
5 – A redo on that right eye surgery a few months back; wound up with a drooping eyelid that obscures vision and makes me look like a stroke victim.
6 –A few more years with Mom and Dad and Helen and Charlie and Doug and Andy and Howard and Beulah. God rest them all.
7 – Eliminate the word incredible from the vocabulary of any TV reporter covering rain, wind, hail, thunder, lightning or anything else.
8 – Another 36 years for The Oklahoma Constitution, creation of Steve Byas, promoting conservatism with zeal. Steve started in ’79; we started in ’80.
9 ~ A special place for my wife of 53 years, Ann, for her loving care and infinite patience.
10 – An end to hatred, anger and war.
