Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women Chairman Pam Pollard on Facebook:

Just getting home from a wonderful event in Madill tonight. As many of you know, long time OKGOP supporter and grassroots champion James Cruson has been diagnosed with leukemia and given a very short time to be on this earth.

Tonight Lynn Windel and Dustin Rowe hosted a hot dog supper in honor of James’ annual event of that was rained out this year.

Congressmen Tom Cole, Lt. Gov Todd Lamb, State Auditor Gary Jones, Labor Commissioner Mark Costello, Corp Comms Dana Murphy and Todd Hiett, State Senators Josh Brecheen, Frank Simpson, State Reps Pat Ownbey and myself all spoke in honor of this great man and Wanda, his bride of 65 years!

I spoke about the foundation James and Wanda have laid for Republicans in southern Oklahoma. I told them about the original stone I saw of the steps leading to the Temple in Jerusalem that Jesus Christ, the Son of God had walked on and how important a solid foundation was to build on. James and Wanda laid that solid foundation for the Republican Party in Marshall County and this blue bleeding area is now much redder with a Republican Congressman, State Senator and State Representative.

James always called me his 3rd daughter and I met my 2 sisters tonight. I could not have been more honored than to be asked to speak at this special event.

James and Wanda, you are loved and appreciated and I will do everything I can to continue to build on the foundation you have laid in southern Oklahoma!!

God Bless you “Dad”

Love, Pam
Daughter #3
